• Creative Differences: Both Lauren Faust and her husband Craig McCracken left Cartoon Network in disgust of their idea of creating a block for reality TV shows. It was also probably because the president of Cartoon Network absolutely refused to let her make any shows with female protagonists, thinking nobody would watch it, never mind him completely forgetting about The Powerpuff Girls. Lauren later went on to do a certain series that became immensely more popular than everything on the block combined. The differences seem to have subsided for Lauren, as she's going to do a new show for them now, a show which will star an all-female cast of DC superheroes.

• Dye Hard: Often pictured with bright red hair.
• Line to God: She has a DeviantArt account.
• Old Shame: Lauren dislikes Quest for Camelot, most likely because it's not the best example for a female lead for animation (according to this message ^{[dead link]} that was sent to Lauren, she dislikes Camelot due to Warner Brothers committing heavy Executive Meddling on the product). It was planned out as an animated feature for the PG-13 rating; however, it was changed into a children's cartoon that was to do something similar to the animated film musicals from Disney.
  • She also expressed regret over writing the infamous Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends episode "Everybody Knows It's Bendy" in a ToonZone post, citing its shorter runtime (which cut out several key plot points) and unsatisfying outcome.
  • Lauren admittedly wishes she didn't write the Powerpuff Girls episode "Equal Fights." In retrospect, she finds Straw Feminism too touchy a subject to discuss in a cartoon so lighthearted.
• One of Us: Browses /co/ and openly embraced the internet fandom of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, of which she seems very amused by.
  • She was also very excited at getting John de Lancie, AKA Q as Discord in the second season, stating that she's a big Trekkie and loves Q.
  • She's also an avid toy/doll collector as a couple of photos on the Milky Way website show. One shelf is filled with Wonder Woman memorabilia, you can probably guess how she feels about getting to write Wonder Girl shorts...
• Promoted Fangirl: She was a big My Little Pony (well, the toys at least) fan when she was a kid. Years later, she got the chance to make My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. It's practically one of the most successful pieces of Fan Fiction ever.
  • She also liked The Powerpuff Girls and wanted to be on the production team. She eventually did so and later married the creator.
• What Could Have Been: Faust was pitching her idea for a Milky Way and The Galaxy Girls TV show when she was asked to create the next My Little Pony series.
