Kinnikuman: Muscle Fight/YMMV
- Awesome Music: Kinnikuman: Muscle Fight has great renditions of various Kinnikuman songs by Tomoaki Hirose. Even though the limitations of the game engine mean they have no backing singers, the MIDI does a good enough job replacing the voices.
- Copy Cat Sue: Fraulein Brocken is essentially a female version of Brockenman and Brocken Jr. She's part of their family, so it makes sense that she would have their moveset.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Tarou Yamada is a Guest Fighter in this game. In a video displaying his super moves, Tarou Yamada beats up Kinnikuman. In J-Stars Victory Vs, Tarou Yamada is in, but Kinnikuman is nowhere to be found. Guess Tarou Yamada fought Kinnikuman for that spot.
- In the Perfect Origin arc, Crowman essentially rips off a desperation move used by Kinnikuman Mariposa. They both turn a part of the canvas into a spike and impale their foes.
- It Was His Sled: Due to the game's dedication to the original manga, key plot points will be spoiled frequently in the characters' moves.
- Most Wonderful Sound: The bell-ringing to signify the end of the round is wonderful because it shows the player's domination over their opponent.
- Tier-Induced Scrappy:
- Geronimo is considered low-tier because many of his special attacks and supers harm him in the process. Many AI battles have him losing to the better characters in game.
- Anyone with a full-heal Comeback Mechanic Super Mode[1] can easily outlast their opponent in a damage race and win even if they were doing poorly up to that point. Ashuraman is even worse since he has high-priority moves. He even an AI tournament featuring the other bad guys of Kinnikuman
- That One Attack: Kinnikuman from the first anime is tough as balls even though he's supposed to be a normal opponent. He can heal himself back to full health and give himself super armor with his Burning Inner Strength. Although his health begins to deteriorate after using it, he can use it again if he has enough super meters.
