Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days/Trivia
- Beam Me Up, Scotty: Without going into spoilers, the game's famous Memetic Mutation is actually "Who else will I have ice cream with?", not "who will I eat ice cream with?"
- Hey, It's That Voice!: Christopher. FUCKING. Lee. Coming out of your DS's speakers.
- Namine is also too cool for us. and Kairi is helping Demi Lovato with the final jam.
- Black hair... blue eyes... SWEET ANSEM! Isabella is a Sora-clone!
- Xion is also Holly Hobbie.
- Shout-Out: One of Demyx's Joke Weapons is a giant tennis racket. Its name? Prince of Awesome.
- Which might also be a Shout-Out to Awesome Series (one of which was actually called "Prince of Awesome"). Which, if true, is definitely... awesome. (Note that the weapon is called Prince Custom in the Japanese version, so this would entirely be a Shout-Out on the part of the translators if it were true.)
- Early on, Xigbar labels Xion "poppet", a word that easily brings to mind Pirates of the Caribbean - since Xigbar wears an eyepatch, this was probably highly intentional.
- More Demyx: his Ultimate Gear weapon is called "Up to Eleven."
- Even more Demyx: One of his weapons is "Sanctuary" - the title of the theme song to both this game and Kingdom Hearts II.
- Roxas has a weapon called "Total Eclipse," a possible reference to the Bonnie Tyler song "Total Eclipse of the Heart."
- Lexaeus has a weapon called "Octiron."
- Updated Rerelease: Averted: Notable, as this is the only game in the series so far not to be remade or given a Final Mix.
- What Could Have Been:
- Luxord's Mystery Gear weapon was originally meant to be dollar bills.
- A world based on the circus scenes from Pinocchio with a What Measure Is a Non-Human?-centered plot was planned but scrapped due to space limitations. There are still some Pinocchio assets hiding in the game data, however.
- As of Kingdom Hearts 3D, the Pinocchio world and some of its plot threads are getting some use after all.
