Kantai Collection/Heartwarming

• Yamato has never been allowed to sail, because of how expensive she is to operate...so Fubuki, Yuudachi, and Mutsuki put her on a raft and tow her out to sea.
• After Kongou rescues Fubuki during the latter's second major battle (deploying with the Kongou sisters and Shimakaze), she kneels down and embraces Fubuki while her sisters push ahead to finish the battle. "We'll take care of the rest!"
  • Kongou comforting Fubuki after her first encounters with her other fleetmates (Kitakami, Ooi, Zuikaku, and Kaga) went poorly.
  • And then comforting her again after their oddball (but effective) combined fleet is broken up.
  • Even during the opening animation, Fubuki is standing on the dock alone in the rain, and then turns to see Kongou standing there with an umbrella and a great big smile.
