Judge
What is your sin?
Following the same principles as Doubt, Judge is a horror manga written by Tonogai Yoshiki.
Hiro, an Ordinary High School Student, just wanted to tell his friend Hikari how he felt about her... but Hikari was already dating his older brother, Atsuya. And his attempt to confess didn't work out so well...
Two years later, Hiro wakes up after a seemingly random attack to find himself in a barren cell, arms shackled behind him and wearing a grotesque rabbit mask. And he isn't the only one there... With nine players gathered, the Death Game Judge begins...
May or may not be a sequel to Doubt. Can be read here
Tropes used in Judge include:
- Ambiguously Gay: Kazu. During his confession of his sin Kazu states that 'he can never love a girl' which either means that he is gay or that he does not have the emotional capacity to love anyone and rather just enjoys having sex. Of course due to how much Ho Yay is already going on between him and Hiro it is probably the former.
- Creepy Doll
- Does This Remind You of Anything?: Saw, anyone?
- Education Papa: Hayato Takizawa has one of these.
- Expy: Rina Okamoto seems to be one of Rise Kujikawa.
- Hair-Raising Hare: Hiro's mask.
- Hikikomori: Nobuyuki.
- Ho Yay: Already plenty between Hiro and Kazu.
- Killed Off for Real: So far Atsuya, the pig male, the bear, and Kazu (the male cat).
- Love Confession: One led to Hikari realizing how much she cared about Atsuya. Hiro wanted to give one to Hikari, but it went horribly wrong.
- Malevolent Masked Men: See the picture above.
- Meganekko: Miku Sanada.
- Ms. Fanservice: Asami.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Hiro lying to his brother, which leads to him getting run over by a truck.
- Oblivious to Love: Hikari doesn't seem to pick up on just who Hiro keeps alluding to liking...
- Ordinary High School Student
- Promotion to Parent: Atsuya, to Hiro.
- Seven Deadly Sins:
- Lion: Pride
- Rabbit: Envy
- Cat: Lust
- Bear: Sloth
