Jonny Quest: The Real Adventures/Trivia
- Hey, It's That Voice!:
- Ezekiel Rage being voiced by Michael Bell, aka Angelica Pickles' dad, makes his Start of Darkness a bit more disturbing.
- And Quackerjack and Raziel — it's just jaw-dropping.
- Jeramiah Surd is a human Megatron. And a million other roles, since he's played by Frank Welker.
- Lucius Creed, the villain from "Race Against Danger," bears more than just a physical resemblance to another long haired blond international criminal mastermind. Julian Sands helps.
- It's worth a good snicker realizing that the second season Dr. Quest is Q, that the first season Race was voiced by the T-1000 (or Agent Doggett). And the second season voice for Jessie packs a lightsaber or commands the Normandy later.
- The biggest mindfuck of all comes when you realize Jonny stole Travis Touchdown's kills, is a double-crossing Nobody, once got his crotch grabbed by the President, taught a certain troublemaking genin, punched Digimon in the face and is a walking, talking, and extreme pervert of a stuffed lion. Enjoy that last one.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: The show had a few single-episode VHS tapes and laserdisc releases during its run, but was all but forgotten after that, especially after the Time Warner merger. Most of the episodes can be found online, though, thanks to the shows' faithful fanbase. Finally in 2009, Turner released a DVD set of the first 13 episodes of season 1, including director/producer commentary and "making of" mini-features. There have been no announcements about releases for the rest of the series as of yet, but the fans remain eager... hopefully it won't take another 13 years this time around.
- What Could Have Been: Lance Falk's team had pledged to explore the history of Jonny's mother Rachel in a third season, but the show was cancelled so they never got the chance.
