• Complete Monster - Amusingly, nearly every appearance of Optimus Prime so far. The reviews for the various Animated Primes don't feature anything too untoward, but...
  • Powered Convoy carries around a rocket launcher and a briefcase full of drugs.
  • Masterpiece Prime gladly talks about how being rich is awesome and how poor people are terrible.
  • Revenge of the Fallen Leader-class Prime is the worst, merrily singing lullabies as he brutally slays and deconstructs Megatron, vowing he will continue his reign of terror.
  • Hybrid Style Prime seems pretty nice, even after Dragonzord beats him without a reason, but reveals his true colors when Drift comes to him for advice.
  • War For Cybertron Optimus Prime shows that he has qualities in common with Jack Torrance, when he gets his hands on the Corbot V War Axe set, causing WFC Megatron to flee in fear.
• Crowning Music of Awesome - Vangelus provides his own. Of particular note is the "creepy chanting" tune used when the Subtitles get "Zonderized".
• Fan Wank - Parodied with Love Across The Universe: Can You Recall It?, an epic fan fiction spanning no doubt hundreds of chapters all to explore what is essentially a single animation error from the 1986 Transformers movie.
• Hell Is That Noise: The ending of RUMPstick.mp4 involves a droning high-pitched note from a synthesizer.
• Hilarious in Hindsight
  • Long before Revenge of the Fallen came out, the early speculation on the Twins, Skids and Mudflap, was that they might end up being ridiculous hillbilly stereotypes. In an aim to subvert this, Vangelus reviewed Skids as though he was a rising rap star named MC Paddington, almost perfectly replicating the character of Skids... though less annoying.
  • He jokingly reviewed Revenge of the Fallen Dirt Boss as though he was the long lost son of Spoons. Not long after, Dirt Boss was repainted into Revenge of the Fallen Spoons.
• Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain - Even after Skeletor Took a Level in Badass, he still gets his ass kicked left and right by other toys.
• Memetic Badass - Action Master Elite Omega Spreem!
• Memetic Mutation: INSTRUCTION BOOKLETS ARE FOR PUSSIES.
• Shipping - Animated Blackarachnia is Animated Waspinator's Waifu, and Beast Wars Waspinator his grandfather.. The Subtitles finds all this terrible, partly because it means the desk is infested with wasps and spiders and the Subtitles has to sleep there.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: Played for Laughs. Either Vangelus is being sarcastic about his popularity or The Subtitles will remind him of reality
• This Is Your Premise on Drugs: RUMPstick.mp4 comes off as an unhinged take of an old Orson Welles commercial.

• Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: Vangelus uses this trope whenever he can. MC Paddington stealing Omega Spreem's "wimminz", Skeletor stomping all over Iron Man and Riddick after being "modernized" by Dr. Breen, only to get stomped in turn by Exceed Gills, who in turn encounters a Xenomorph; perhaps the biggest example was the "Hi-Price for the Final Definition" mini-series, where Vangelus manages to fight off a Zonderized camera and The Subtitles with a GaoGaiGar toy-review, while Omega Spreem and his new protege face off against Ruühlbähr and and evil Phone Braver.
• Unfortunate Implications - Vangelus hypothesizes people think the Subtitles are female because of how cruel and nagging they are to him.
• Visual Effects of Awesome - Vangelus is handy with video editing software, making frequent cameos in his own videos and blowing up toy packing with hammers, super powers, and the Hundred-Crack Fist of the North Star.
