- Hey, It's That Guy!: The director brought a buttload of Mummy alumni with him. Besides Arnold "Imhotep" Vosloo as Zartan and an uncredited cameo by Brendan Fraser as Sgt. - Darth Maul is Snake Eyes.
- Gaila is Scarlett. Nichols even has the same dye job.
- Marlon Wayans as the lead's Black Best Friend. This isn't Unfortunate Implications, incidentally; he has the same role in every film he's in. Even alongside his own brother.
- The Ninth Doctor is Destro. Exceptionally amusing since there's another character in the movie who's actually called the Doctor!
- And he's using Nanomachines... "Are you my mummy?"
- Is that The Eighth Doctor taking a photo at the Effiel Tower before the war-head hits it?
- And he's using Nanomachines... "Are you my mummy?"
- Mr. Eko is Heavy Duty.
- OMG, Colonel PerĂ³n, alias Governor Swann, aka Elliot Carver, is now U.S. President!
- If you watch South Korean movies, Lee Byung Hun from The Good, the Bad, the Weird and many other films plays Storm Shadow. (FYI, Lee was The Bad from the aforementioned movie.) He's also played in multiple Korean Series, including Iris.
- As a child, he's the drug lord from Tropic Thunder!
- Promoted Fanboy: Marlon Wayans is an admitted fan.
- What Could Have Been: Rapper Common was offered the role of Heavy Duty's cousin Roadblock, but film screenwriter, Stuart Beattie, chose Heavy Duty instead.
