Feminist Frequency/YMMV
- Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch: Strongly gives this impression, along with a healthy dose of Tropes Are Stupid, Throw Rocks At Them. Examples include:
- Remixing video game stock footage for a blog that praises the game Portal for being about "non violent conflict resolution" and criticizes "you hardly see" Chell.
- Though, to be fair, she does say later that the latter remark about Chell was supposed to be a comment, not a criticism.
- Saying Jim Henson didn't like female leads.
- Suggesting that The Bible is bad for women's rights because of Mary being impregnated by God.
- Complaining about The Powerpuff Girls' parody of a Straw Feminist and forgetting the character was revealed to not be a feminist at all.
- Lumping Y: The Last Man and the Daughters of Amazon therein as example of "crazy man hating Straw Feminists without any realistic feminists showing up" when not only do calmer more grounded feminists appear but Brian K. Vaughan explicitly created the characters as examples of one type of feminist school of thought and other characters as opposing ones.
- Saying that the advertising campaign for Bayonetta (an add of Bayonetta's body being covered by removal leaflets) encouraged molestation of actual women.
- Saying that Hitman encourages you to kill strippers and that the women are used as a disposable background decoration. When in reality, there is a penalty for killing civilians during a hit, and the women you have to sneak past share tragic stories involving rape and extortion at the hands of their boss.
- Remixing video game stock footage for a blog that praises the game Portal for being about "non violent conflict resolution" and criticizes "you hardly see" Chell.
- Girls Need Role Models: One of the reasons why she loves Veronica Mars.
- Scapegoat Creator: Often lays the blame for bad writing on Hollywood, even when all the examples in a given video are from television (and some of those shows come from other countries).
