Denji Sentai Megaranger/YMMV
- Alas, Poor Villain Doctor Hinelar created Shibolena as a Replacement Goldfish for his daughter Shizuka to ease the pain of her loss.
- Even more sad as Shibolena's body exploded before his eyes
- Evil Is Sexy: Shibolena. Need we say more?
- Hilarious in Hindsight: At one point, Shun fell asleep in a computer while continually pressing the 'Delete' button. Later in Masaya Matsukaze's seiyuu career... what would be his most infamous words? SAKUJO!!/DELETE!!
- Foe Yay: Yugande and Guirail.
- Ho Yay: In episode 6, Miku tells a boy that wants to date her that she likes another person. When the other Megarangers asked who that is, Miku grabs Chisato's hand and goes to take her for tea. It's a minor example as, later on the series, it's revealed that she likes Shun, as well as Chisato being shocked by Miku's choice and actions.
- Tear Jerker: Shibolena's demise.
- Episodes 49 to the end is a series of Tear Jerker for the Megarangers. Once their identity got exposed and their battle accidentally wounded one of their friends, the rest of their friends AND the whole school turned against them and drove them out of school, forcing them to take refugee in an abandoned house. Miku was nearly crying all the time and Kenta was even driven to despair so much he thought of stopping being a Megaranger and tossed aside his Digitizer. Though from that point on, it's basically Earn Your Happy Ending from their Darkest Hour. And they do, with them being accepted back to school and even graduate.
