Daily Life with Monster Girl/Nightmare Fuel

Just try not being arachnophobic now!
  • Miia's tongue when fully extended is freakishly long. Normal for a snake, it very scary looking since it's a freakishly long human like tongue. Worse, the times we do see it fully extended, she's not in her right mind.
  • Rachnera is this for people who are scared of spiders. In fact, that page picture? That's her scaring the ever loving shit out of someone. Throw in the fact her intro has her glaring down at the reader in a "ready to strike" pose, the fact her debut has her mummify someone alive in her webs nonfatally, thankfully, and the guy was an Asshole Victim, and the fact she has a spider's lower body, six pupilless eyes, and claws sharp enough to rend steel can definitely offset the fact she looks quite good looking otherwise.
  • Centorea was almost raped at one point, in a moment that was NOT played for comedy, especially because she could not legally strike back against the humans involved. Thankfully, Rachnera shows up and manages to scare the bastards away, with the terrifying Nightmare Face that is the page picture.
    • Miia almost has this happen to her too. The fact it's another monster girl does nothing to make this not any less terrifying, especially when you remember she was trapped on a small boat, and any attempt at escape would have immobilized her due to her body's inability to handle the water for long.
  • You think human traffickers are horrible. Monsters also are victims of the same crime. Most often as children.
  • The Dullahan's first appearance is creepy as hell and is laden with layer upon layer of stalker references. Turns out Lala, the Dullahan in question, is not nearly as creepy in person, though she's good at faking it.
    • This also doubles as in-universe nightmare fuel for Miia, who is terrified of the Dullahan's detachable head, or, more accuractly, the fact that the removal of said head leaves a neck stump implied to be as horrfying as a decapitated human's would look like.
