Ar tonelico/YMMV
- Crowning Music of Awesome: Virtually any song on the Hymnnos Concert Discs (which have all the Hymns and a few unused songs). From the first game:
- EXEC_CHRONICLE_KEY/.
- Also EXEC_PAJA/.#Misya.
- And Aurica's version of the above as well.
- The big one in the first game: Phantasmagoria
- The opening themes of each game (which use a similar intro, though the third game's seems more like "the whole song" rather than an intro).
- The first battle theme music Fenrir pretty much kicks ass.
- The song Ec Tisia which is played during the True ending credits combines the three games' openings in an awesome arrangement two thirds of the way in to the song.
- Ho Yay: Ayatane's relationship with Lyner is a little too close for mere friends. Carries over into Cross Edge.
- Moe: Even with the game not out yet, Saki certainly looks this way. Not to mention the series in general draws upon a wide variety of things considered "moe" in some form or another - and even parodies them with the attack item Moe Firepowder in Metafalica.
- Nightmare Fuel: Several boss and villain songs. One of the Sublimation hymns, ee wassa sos yehar, consists mostly of a chorus literally snarling "Die!" in Japanese over and over again.
- Then there's XaaaCi. That one starts off with Ominous Latin Chanting and heavy orchestrals, then slows down until it's just static, a One-Woman Wail, and a monotone voice quietly stating that she's going to kill you. Followed by a Scare Chord, more static, and a horrific metal screech that sounds like the crossing over of an Eldritch Abomination.
- And there's also a song known only as Corrupted Tarifa, which is pretty much Exactly What It Says on the Tin - a freaky, corrupted version of the much more peaceful Ec Tisia ~Tarifa~.
