Alone in the Dark/Trivia

• Fan Nickname: For Inferno, there's Alone in the Park.
• Follow the Leader: In The New Nightmare, the controls, presentation, and gameplay are a little too similar to Resident Evil to be coincidental ("a little" being a major understatement).
• Franchise Killer: The 2008 game was most likely this, even a rerelease that fixes quite a few of the bugs probably wasn't able to save it.
• Franchise Zombie: Both games after The New Nightmare. Illumination looks like it may be the final nail in the coffin.
• Hey, It's That Voice!: In the 2008 reboot, Carnby is voiced by James McCaffrey, the voice of Max Payne.
• What Could Have Been: Capcom was supposed to release Alone in the Dark 3 for the Japanese market, but decided not to go with it.
