(The Customer is) Not Always Right/YMMV
- Accidental Innuendo
- Archive Binge: Combined with a mild case of Bile Fascination, this site can occupy you for days. But if you want to pick up where you left off in the archive, read it by month. The /page URLs aren't stable because the site presents newest posts first.
- Awesome Moments: Have their own page.
- Based on a Great Big Lie: At least, this is what you hope about some of the entries; but it's impossible to know exactly how many are fakes.
- Non Sequitur Scene: A fair few stories are essentially someone's Real Life BLAM experience. For example...
- Crazy Awesome
- Combined with a big old shot of Hot-Blooded here.
- Or maybe just crazy. This married couple uses loud bird calls to find each other in case they get separated in large stores.
- Fan Dumb: Massive [dead link]
.
- Sadly, no Masquerade, but do Twilight books have the same font in Transylvania? Ask Edward! And even when they are not, poor things are used to be seen like this.
- Fridge Horror: Clearly, a fair number of the horrible customers are senile, and some seem like they might have some kind of aphasia or something. Some of those are still funny, but others just leave you wondering if the customers were getting the help they needed... of a non-customer-service kind.
- ...Or the help we need them to get, as the case may be. Some of these people come off as just plain dangerous. One gets the impression that, years from now, some of these workers will be watching the news one day and thinking, "Hey, wait, isn't he that guy who... oh my god..." Or looking at the next car and...
- Some of the stories appear to give a little view into quite messed up home lives... which distracts from the potential funny of an anecdote.
- Almost any story regarding the stupidity or selfishness of a parent can become Fridge Horror when you think about it because it makes you wonder just how they are raising those kids...or if they're raising them at all.
- Funny Moments: Have their own page.
- Heartwarming Moments: Have their own page.
- Inferred Holocaust:
- I Want My Jetpack: Stealth cellphones.
- Moral Event Horizon: A few of the customers cross it.
- Like this guy for instance.
- This guy is another example. For some reason, both of these are golfers.
- This one is particularly cringeworthy.
- Arguably, this is another one. Her own husband's life doesn't seem to be worth very much.
- This guy pretends to be mentally handicapped to cheat a store out of a box of chocolates. Thankfully, the store manager was standing right behind this a**hole.
- This woman who managed to be completely unmoved by what should be a major Adult Fear
- And here, we have a woman who refuses to call 999 when her husband has a heart attack, instead tries to have him removed from their bank account, decides to drive her husband to the bank instead of the hospital, and tries to blame the submitter for her decision, and OPENLY ADMITS TO WANTING HER HUSBAND TO DIE. Fortunately, not only does he survive, he divorces her and has her taken off the bank account.
- This guy here, who goes so far as to continue harassing the waiter even while he is being taken by paramedics (he'd had a seizure)! Even worse because the poor man doesn't seem to fully understand what's happening except that he's being yelled at.
- This man here could also count. The clerk continually tells him to take his wife, who's in labor, to the hospital and even says the store will reserve the bag for him. Then, when his wife can't wait any longer, he has to the nerve to blame them for making her wait!
- This lady here. Her son supposedly has lung cancer, yet she'd rather try to get her room discounted or free than just repack and move to another room (which the hotel worker offered). And the next day, the worker sees her smoking and her son is sitting next to her, meaning she may have lied about her son having cancer... and that's the best case scenario.
- This woman who signs her daughter out of daycare but doesn't actually pick her up, and then goes to run errands, thinking that she'll avoid the late fees that way. When confronted, she tells her daughter that it's her kid's fault for being bad, when her daughter's a model kid. The poor girl ends up crying.
- This guy here. Pray he was just saying that to get them to hurry up. If not... pray he was fired!
- This one when you put it in hindsight. Teaching your kid it's okay to steal. Nice job, parents.
- Paranoia Fuel: It's bad enough when a robber enters your store and threatens you with a gun. Now we gotta deal with people who like to pretend they're robbers!
- Periphery Demographic: "Bu-But, you’re old. And a girl!”
- Real Women Never Wear Dresses: Seems to be the thought behind this one.
- "Stop Having Fun!" Guys: this guy practically says the trope by name.
