Autograph Collection

Autograph Collection is a collection of independent upper-upscale to luxury hotels within the Marriott International portfolio of brands. Hotels in the Autograph Collection are independently owned and are operated/licensed under the Autograph Collection name. The brand launched in 2010 with the affiliation of 7 Kessler Collection hotels operated by "indie hotelier" Richard C. Kessler[2] and has been one of the fastest growing full-service hotel brands in the industry.[2][3] As of November 2019, it had 184 hotels.[1]

Not to be confused with autograph collecting.

History

The first Autograph Collection hotel was the Casa Monica Resort & Spa in St. Augustine, FL, which joined in 2010.

As of November 2019, the Autograph Collection consisted of 184 hotels in over 32 countries, with another 130 hotels in its pipeline.

Competition

The "Autograph Collection Hotels" is similar to Hilton's "Curio Collection", and "The Unbound Collection by Hyatt".
