As of June 2020, there are 17 open properties across Indonesia, Malaysia, China, India, Oman and the United States, and eight upcoming locations in Switzerland, California (United States), China, Vietnam, the Maldives, Malaysia and Oman.

In December 2012, Alila Hotels and Resorts added a liveaboard Phinisi sailing ship to their portfolio named the Alila Purnama.[3] It was the brand’s first luxury liveaboard ship. At present, the ship sails over the Indonesian waters of Raja Ampat and the Komodo area.
