Yurisbel Gracial

Yurisbel Gracial Garcia (born 14 October 1985) is a Cuban baseball player. He plays for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).

Career

Gracial served in the Cuban military before playing for Matanzas in the Cuban National Series.[1] In 2016, Gracial played for the Québec Capitales of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball.[2] He signed back with the club in 2017, and was released prior to the 2018 season. He played for the Cuban national baseball team in the 2017 World Baseball Classic.[3]

In 2018, Gracial signed with the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball's Pacific League.[4] Gracial re-signed with the Hawks for the 2019 season.[5] He batted 6-for-16 (.375) with three home runs and six RBIs in the 2019 Japan Series and won the Japan Series Most Valuable Player Award.[6]
