WDCN-LP

WDCN-LP is a low-power television station in the Washington, D.C. area, broadcasting locally on channel 6. The station promotes itself as a Spanish-language contemporary hit radio station, branded as "La Nueva 87.7". 87.75 MHz FM is the center frequency of television channel 6's audio signal, which can be received on most FM radios and thus makes a music format viable; FCC regulations only require that a television station broadcast some kind of video content, not that the video and audio content are related.[1]
