Valeriy Bondar (Ukrainian: Бондар Валерій Юрійович; born 27 February 1999 in Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine) is a professional Ukrainian football Defender who plays for FC Shakhtar Donetsk.

Career

Bondar started playing football in FC Shakhtar Donetsk in 2007. In the 2018–2019 season, he played for the team "Shakhtar" in the category U-21.[1]

He made his debut for Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian Premier League in a match against FC Lviv on 4 May 2019.[2][3] On June 15, 2019 Bondar became a world champion. Being a captain of Ukraine national U-20 team, he won the FIFA U-20 World Cup.[4]
