Uncompahgre County, Colorado
Uncompahgre County was a county of the State of Colorado that existed for only three days. Uncompahgre County was created by a temporary renaming of Ouray County in 1883.

History
On February 27, 1883, the Colorado General Assembly renamed Ouray County as Uncompahgre County.[1][2] Three days later on March 2, 1883, the General Assembly changed its mind and changed the name of Uncompahgre County back to Ouray County.[3]
