Suzhou Zhongnan Center

Suzhou Zhongnan Center (Chinese: 苏州中南中心) is a supertall skyscraper started but never completed in SIP, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. The original design for the building building would've been 729 metres (2,391.7 ft) tall.[2] Suzhou Center Plaza is located in the Central Business District of Suzhou, to the west of Jinji Lake. The building was intended as a part of large urban development project, Suzhou Industrial Park, and the estimated cost of the plaza is 28.5 billion yuan (US$4.46 billion).[3] In late 2019, it was announced that the Suzhou Zhongnan Center's megatall design would be replaced with a 499 metres (1,637 ft.) tall building in compliance with Chinas ban on buildings taller than 500 meters. Construction is currently underway.
