Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle (Japanese: 魔王城でおやすみ, Hepburn: Maōjō de Oyasumi) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kagiji Kumanomata. The series started publishing in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine in May 2016. An anime television series adaptation by Doga Kobo will premiere in October 2020.

Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle is written and illustrated by Kagiji Kumanomata. The series started in the 2016 issue #24 of Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday published on May 11, 2016.[7] Shogakukan has compiled its individual chapters into fourteen tankōbon volumes as of May 2020.

In North America, Viz Media has licensed the series in September 2017.[8] The first volume was released on June 12, 2018.[9]

Anime

An anime television series adaptation was announced in the 42nd issue of Weekly Shōnen Sunday on September 18, 2019.[35] The series is animated by Doga Kobo and directed by Mitsue Yamazaki, with Yoshiko Nakamura handling series composition and Ai Kikuchi designing the characters. Yukari Hashimoto is composing the series' music.[2][36] The series will premiere in October 2020 on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and AT-X.[37][38][36] ORESAMA will perform the series' ending theme song "Gimmme!".[39]
