Simhachalam Hill Range
The Simhachala Hill Range, with the anglicised name Simhachalam Hills, are a towering mountain range (377 m) near the city of Visakhapatnam, in Andhra Pradesh state, southern India. It is one of the hill stations in Andhra Pradesh and in the Eastern Ghats.[1]

Geography
Simhachalam hills form part of the easterner ranges of the Eastern Ghats System. these hills cover 32km streach over area[2]
History
Simhachalm hill ranges have lot of rich history famous Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple is located hear and Chalukya period Radha Madhava Swamy temple and some old Buddhism Monuments are founfd hear.[3]
Devotional
this hills had many temples including famous temple in Andhra pradesh state Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple and many more small temples and every year there is a festival is had done which is called as Giri Pradakshina 35km walk around the hill by Hindu devotees.[4]

There are so many neighborhoods of Visakhapatnam city are situated near these hill ranges those are Adavivaram, Akkayyapalem, Balayya Sastri Layout, Gopalapatnam, Hanumanthavaka, Kailasapuram, Madhavadhara, Narasimha Nagar, Prahaladapuram, Seethammadhara.
Flora and fauna
Simhachalm hill protected Visakhapatnam city environmental hazards and Andhra University has found 74 varieties of flora and 200 species.[5]
