School of Open Learning

The School of Open Learning (SOL) was established as a constituent college of the University of Delhi in 1962 and is a pioneer in the field of distance education in India.It is one of the largest educational institutions in India, with around 5 lakh students. Approx 1.5 lakh students are enrolled every year.

Overview

The school offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in the subjects of Arts/Humanities and Commerce.[1]

The school also has a South Study Centre at South Moti Bagh, New Delhi.[2] A degree of SOL has the same value as that of a regular college in Delhi University.
