Playboy Penguin

Playboy Penguin is a character in the animated cartoon Looney Tunes, created by Chuck Jones in the late 1940s and early 1950s. He debuted in 1949's Frigid Hare and he re-appeared in 8 Ball Bunny.

History

Playboy Penguin is a mute skating baby penguin that seeks Bugs Bunny for help. From his debut episode Frigid Hare, an Eskimo hunter in Antarctica tries to catch him until the little penguin found Bugs Bunny and wants him to help avoid the Eskimo hunter.[1] Afterwards, Playboy Penguin whispers to Bugs how he can have his vacation in Antarctica.

In 8 Ball Bunny, Playboy Penguin ask Bugs to take him home, going on various misadventures and at one point encountering Humphrey Bogart.[2]

Playboy Penguin appears on The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries.

Playboy Penguin makes a cameo in the Nintendo DS game Duck Amuck.

Playboy Penguin appears in Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas. He is first seen at the Luck Duck Superstore being scolded by Daffy Duck only for Bugs Bunny to reprimand him for this action. Around the end of the movie, Daffy Duck hires Playboy Penguin as an employee.
