Piješ (song)

"Piješ" (pronounced [pîjeːʃ];[1] transl. "You're Drinking") is a single by Slovenian singer-songwriter Senidah. The single was released on 15 May 2020, alongside its music video.[2][3] It was written by the artist, Benjamin Krnetić and Anže Kacafura, and produced by Cazzafura.

Background and release

On 12 May 2020, only three days, Senidah released her single and music video "Ko je" (Who Is It).[4][5]

However, on 15 May, two hours before the release, she posted the cover art on her Instagram account, captioning it only with "3".[6] The countdown was continued when the artist posted the cover art once again after one hour, captioning it this time with "2".[7] At the same time as the music video was being premiered on YouTube, she posted the cover art one last time, captioning it with "1".[8][9]

Music video

The music video was released alongside the song. It was directed and produced by Slovenian artist Katarina Rešek, better known as Kukla (stylized as КУКЛА). It was inspired by 1963 film A New Kind of Love.[3]
