Outstanding Natural Area

An Outstanding Natural Area is a protected area designation in the United States. The designations are managed by the Bureau of Land Management within the National Landscape Conservation System. The following table contains a partial list of outstanding natural areas, three of which protect lighthouses and the adjacent land.

The Devils Garden and Phipps-Death Hollow, both in Garfield County, Utah, are also known as wilderness study areas.[13]
