Olha Buslavets

Olha Anatoliyivna Buslavets (Ukrainian: Ольга Анатоліївна Буславець; born 5 March 1975[1]) is a Ukrainian power engineer and civil servant. On 16 April 2020, she was appointed as the Acting Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection.[2][3]

Biography

She graduated from Donetsk State Technical University (1997). Buslavets is a Candidate of Technical Sciences.[1]

Since 2000, she has worked for an energy supply company.[4]

Buslavets served in senior positions in the Department of Electricity at the Ministry of Fuel and Energy.[1]

Since December 2017, she headed the Directorate of Energy Markets at the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining.[1]

First Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection.[5]

On 16 April 2020 Buslavets was appointed as the Acting Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection.[2][3] On 27 May 2020 the Environmental Protection part of this ministry was relocated to the reemerged Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.[6] Roman Abramovsky was appointed as minister of this ministry.[7] Buslavets stayed on as Acting Minister of Energy.[8]
