Nureongi
The Nureongi[1] are mongrel dogs with yellowish coloring often used as a source for dog meat in Korea.[2][3] The term is the transliteration of the Korean word "누렁이" meaning "yellow one”.[3]

There are other meaning of "누렁이" 1.a yellowish object or beast. 2.a dog with yellow fur. 3. another way of an expression of 'golden'. but is commonly used for a dog.[4]
In a 2009 review article about dog meat consumption in South Korea, Anthony Podberscek of Cambridge University cited an earlier paper's finding that, although other kinds of dogs are also farmed and eaten, the Nureongi-type dogs were the most commonly used.[3]
