Plot

Season 1

Cousin sisters Shivanya and Shesha are ichchadhari naagins, vowing to kill the five murderers of Shivanya's parents who were massacred during an attempt to obtain Naagmani, a magical gem. Shivanya enters the murderer Ankush's life with Shesha's help, and on his son Ritik's wedding day, she marries Ritik by replacing his bride after attacking the first murderer Viren (Ankush's nephew), who lapses into coma.

Ritik and Shivanya live with each other just like friends; he falls in love with her. Shivanya finds out that Ankush's friend Suri is none other than the six finger murderer, and kills him. Tanvi's new fiancé is murdered by a nevla Kabir, who is hired by Suri's wife Manisha to take revenge for his death and disguises himself as the fiancé.

As Tanvi discovers that Shivanya and Shesha are Naagins, Kabir kills her as he doesn't want that anyone know their truth. Everyone is shattered and saddened with Tanvi's death. Shivanya and Shesha kill Kabir, after learning his real identity, thus avenging Tanvi's demise. Eventually, Shivanya fulfills her another revenge by killing Shailesh.

It's revealed that Ankush's wife Yamini is the fifth murderer and Ritik is her fraternal nephew, not son. They killed Ritik's mother and have kept Ritik's real father Sangram Singh (Yamini's brother) in a secret place from last 20 years, before adopting Ritik only to get Naagmani, as he can bring and touch it.

Yamini frees Sangram from the place and pushes him down off a cliff, presuming him dead. He is wounded, but Shivanya and Shesha, unaware of his real identity, save him. Shivanya realises that Sangram is Ritik's father. Sangram gets well and escapes after taking Naagmani to give it to SheshNaag.

The Rahejas's saver and priestess Guru Maa hires a morni Mayuri, on Yamini's demand, to get rid of Shivanya, as Yamini learns about her Naagin avatar. However Mayuri is killed by Shivanya and Shesha through blessings from Lord Shiva. Shivanya finally realises her love for Ritik, which risks the loss of her powers.

Yamini reveals to Shivanya about Ritik not being her son only to mislead Shivanya that Sangram is the fifth murderer, also confessing that she knows that Ankush is a killer. Shesha begins developing feelings for Ritik and is unable to stop thinking about him. Shivanya learns Yamini's truth and Sangram's real identity, realising that she knows her reality.

Yamini turns Shesha against Shivanya, by learning that she loves Ritik, and they join forces to kill Shivanya. When all plans fail, they frame Shivanya for Ankush's death and Ritik begins detesting her, swearing vengeance. Yamini kills Ritik and Shivanya with a magical knife, wanting no danger for Naagmani to be safe again.

Shivanya is revived by Lord Shiva and brings back Ritik to life after getting Naagmani from Yamini and Shesha's clutches. The two apologise and confess their love, and Ritik meets Sangram finally, resulting in a happy reunion. Yamini and Shesha get to know that the two are alive, and Shivanya loses her powers, when SheshNaag curses her.

Yamini and Shesha now try many ways to get Naagmani back from Ritik and Shivanya. Guru Maa who also wants Naagmani revives the dead Kabir for this mission; his marriage is arranged to Yamini's daughter Amrita as a plan to complete his revenge towards Shivanya. Shesha finds out about Kabir being alive, but teams up with him to murder Shivanya.

Viren wakes up from coma and gets Shivanya arrested, after she learns that Kabir is still alive. However the police gives Shivanya one chance when she tells them about Viren being murderer. She proves that he is the murderer; the officers capture Viren. They have an altercation; Viren tries to shoot Shivanya after attacking a female officer but Shivanya kills him under self-defense.

Kabir's true reality is exposed; he begins fighting with Shesha, who despite of hating Shivanya, kills him along with her. Ritik and Shivanya do a puja to save Naagmani, and she kills Yamini. After Sangram's death they defeat Mahishmatis and Shesha who want the Naagmani. Shesha is imprisoned by Mahishmatis for this. Ritik and Shivanya begin a new life; she is revealed to be pregnant.
