The song is a ballad, with Kesovija singing that music and her lover are the things in which she has found happiness.

The song was performed 13th on the night (following Italy's Nicola Di Bari with "I giorni dell'arcobaleno" and preceding Sweden's Family Four with "Härliga sommardag"). At the close of voting, it had received 87 points, placing 9th in a field of 18.

It was succeeded as Yugoslavian representative at the 1973 Contest by Zdravko Čolić with "Gori vatra".
