Montrose, Tasmania

Montrose, is a suburb in the northern suburbs of Hobart, capital of Tasmania, Australia. The suburb is situated in close proximity with Rosetta. Montrose is the suburb directly north of Glenorchy and lies within the local government area of City of Glenorchy. It is also in Montrose where the Montrose Foreshore Community Park is located. The suburb was named after Montrose House, located at the top of Montrose Road. It was built in the early 20th century.
