Mohana (tribe)

The Mohana (Urdu:موہانہ), sometimes referred to as Mohano, are a Sindhi tribe found in the provinces of Sindh and Punjab in Pakistan. The mostly Mohana families live in south Punjab which city name Khanewal, Multan, Muzaffar Garh, Rajanpur, Rahim yar Khan and many more cities. They often refer to themselves as Mir Bahar (meaning Lord of the sea.). They are mostly Sunni Muslim and speak the Sindhi language.[1]
