Mbuba road tanker explosion
The Mbuba road tanker explosion was the car crash and explosion of a tank truck on 6 October 2018 in Kongo Central, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The vehicle had collided with another truck in the village of Mbuba and later exploded, resulting in at least 39 deaths and more than 100 injured.

Following the car crash villagers of Mbuba had started to collect fuel which leaked from the vehicles. After few minutes fuel began to burn and destroy nearby houses.
UN mission in DRC, MONUSCO, had sent nine ambulances to the Kisantu, which is the place where the most of injured was evacuated shortly after accident.[2]
