Maya Bazaar (1995 film)
Maya Bazaar (English: Market of Illusion) is a 1995 Telugu-language comedy film, produced by P. S. N. Murthy, M. K. Mavullayya under the Kamakshi Films banner and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Suman, Aamani, Dasari Narayana Rao in the lead roles and music composed by Madhavapeddi Suresh. The film is socialized remake of the evergreen mythological classic Telugu movie Maya Bazaar (1957).[2]

Plot
The film begins in a village where Balaramaiah (Gummadi) is its lead-off person who holds high esteem. Krishna Prasad (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) his younger brother is a man of wit & wisdom and a magician too. They have a sister Subhadra (Jayanthi) married to a millionaire Arjuna Rao (Murali Mohan) and their son Rajesh (Suman) falls for Balaramaiah's daughter Sasirekha (Aamani). Once Dharma Rao (Ramakrishna) the elder brother of Arjuna Rao is invited by their step-brother Suyodhana Rao (Gokina Rama Rao) who has a family animosity. Exploiting the situation, Suyodhana Rao ploys along with his maternal uncle Kollayappa (Thotapalli Madhu), grab their entire wealth in gambling, indicts them in crime and sentenced. Knowing it, Balaramaiah furiously moves to Suyodhana Rao as he is his political follower. Being cognizant to it, crafty Suyodhana Rao & Kollayappa flatters & misleads Balaramaiah and also takes approval to couple up Sasirekha with Suyodhana Rao's son Baby (Babu Mohan). Meanwhile, Rajesh & Subhadra reach the village, as they are financially ruined Balaramaiah's wife Revathi (Anuradha) looks them down and supports Sasi's match with Baby. Right now, the rift arises between the families, Rajesh & Subhadra leaves the house when Krishna Prasad cleverly diverts them to Rajesh's cousin Ghattayya Dora's (Dasari Narayana Rao) hamlet in the forest. Ghattayya Dora is a tribal leader, possessing supernatural powers and gives them a warm welcome. Thereafter, he learns regarding the turbulence, when on the guidance of Krishna Prasad he carries Sasi and purports himself as the bride. At present, Ghattayya Dora & his assistants' chaos in the wedding venue and teases the people of the bridegroom with their gimmicks. Parallelly, Rajesh proves the innocence of his father & paternal uncle and acquits them. At last, Krishna Prasad brings out the real intentions of baddies and ceases them. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage Rajesh & Sasirekha.
