Mahayag, Bohol

Mahayag is one of the barangays in the municipality of San Miguel in the province of Bohol, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 2,329 people. Two sitios are located in the barangay: Sitio Candelaria (Salakot) and Sitio Tawid. Mahayag is one of the major income source in municipality of San Miguel. Mahayag celebrates the Feast of St. Isidore the Worker every year on 15 and 16 May. Team Mahayag for Volleyball Game was concluded as Champion, bested other 17 Barangays in a recent Women's Valleyball League 2014 held in San Miguel.[1]
