Love Is Here is the debut studio album by indie rock band Starsailor, released on 8 October 2001. In 2002, Love Is Here was certified as platinum in the UK.[1]

Upon its release, Love Is Here received critical acclaim. At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews and ratings from mainstream critics, the album received a score of 72, based on 19 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[2] The album sold 58,424 copies on its opening week of release, charting at No.2 in the UK album charts.

Q listed Love Is Here as one of the best 50 albums of 2001,[13] while NME rated it as the fifth best album of the year.[14]

Personnel
  • The song "Way to Fall" is played during the ending credits of the 2004 video game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Director Hideo Kojima hand-picked the song for the game's soundtrack, apparently having discovered the group by accident while looking for another group.[16]
