List of offenders executed in the United States in 2020

This is a list of offenders executed in the United States in 2020. As of August 18, 2020, ten inmates have been executed in the United States in 2020, nine by lethal injection and one by electrocution.[1] In addition, a total of six death row inmates are currently scheduled to be executed in the remainder of the year.[2]

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of executions have been postponed and rescheduled. So far, Texas has postponed the executions of seven inmates who were due to be executed in March, April, May, June, and September.[3][4][5][6] Tennessee has also postponed the executions of three inmates who were due to be executed in June, August, and October.[7][8][9]
