Kanaloa Hawai’i is a planned professional Rugby union franchise team of Major League Rugby based in Hawaii.[1]

The same ownership group (the Mercury Group, which includes former All Blacks Anthony Tuitavake, Ben Atiga, Jerome Kaino, Joe Rokocoko and John Afoa) is also planning for the possibility of another team to play in Super Rugby based out of South Auckland – a low-income urban area with a large Polynesian and Māori demographic in New Zealand.[2]
