KJJZ

KJJZ (95.9 MHz) is a 1.75 kW Class A FM commercial radio station licensed to Indian Wells, California and broadcasting to the greater Coachella Valley and the Morongo Basin of California. KJJZ airs an adult contemporary music format branded as KOOL 95.9 FM. History The station first signed on as KAJR, and aired a Variety Hits format as 95.9 Jack FM Playing What We Want. It is very similar to it's other station at 93.1 KCBS-FM in Los Angeles. It couldn't reach the KCBS-FM signal from Los Angeles (100) miles (160) km) to the west. It did not last long, So in February 2010, KAJR flipped to Soft AC as 95.9 the Oasis. On August 15, 2016 KJJZ rebranded as "Kool 95.9".[1]
