Jerzy Kwieciński

Jerzy Stanisław Kwieciński (born 16 October 1959 in Stalowa Wola) is the President of the Management Board of Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo (PGNiG), a post he has held since 10 January 2020.

He was a longtime employee of the European Commission Representation in Poland. In 2014 Kwieciński became a member of the Platform Council of the Law and Justice party, and in 2015 was appointed to the National Development Council by Polish President Andrzej Duda. He was the Minister of Investment and Economic Development from 9 January 2018 to 15 November 2019, and the Minister of Finance from 20 September 2019 to 15 November 2019. Kwieciński has been a visiting professor at Brunel University London.[1]

He holds a doctorate from the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology as well as a Master of Business Administration, earned as part of an effort by several universities.
