Jean-Michel Labadie
Jean-Michel Labadie (born July 14, 1974 in Cambo-les-Bains, Basque country) is a French musician best known as the bassist of metal band Gojira and previous bassist of Oihuka.[1] He replaced Alexandre Cornillon as the bassist of the band in January 1998.[2]

Music
Labadie was influenced early on by bands such as Metallica, Sepultura and Pantera. As his taste expanded, he became immersed in the nu-metal movement, citing inspiration from Deftones and Korn. He is also influenced by death metal bands Death, Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse.[3]
Labadie is also known for his energetic live presence during shows, with much jumping around the stage and heavy headbanging.
