It Happened In Calcutta is an Indian Hindi romance drama web series created and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor for ALT Balaji and ZEE5.[1] The series stars Karan Kundra and debutant Naghma Rizwan as protagonists.[2][3] The series will premiere on 29 January 2020 on ALT Balaji and ZEE5.[4]

Plot
The series is set in the city of Calcutta in 1960s and 1970s and revolves the protagonists Ronobir (Karan Kundra) & Kusum (Naghma Rizwan) transcending across a period when India was fighting epidemic, protecting borders & battling political unrest.[5] The series explores their journey during Indo-Pak war, the medical insurgency and their love fighting against all odds.[6]
