Henry Lancelot Holland

Henry Lancelot Holland was Governor of the Bank of England from 1865 to 1867. He had been Deputy Governor from 1863 to 1865. He replaced Kirkman Daniel Hodgson as Governor and was succeeded by Thomas Newman Hunt.[1] Holland's tenure as Governor occurred during the Panic of 1866.
