Guangzhou Zhengguo International Airport

Guangzhou Zhengguo International Airport is an airport under planning. It is scheduled to be located in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, China, making it the second airport in the city according to the Comprehensive Urban Plan of Guangzhou (2017-2035).[1][2] However, in May 2020, according to the Guangdong NDRC, the airport is suspended due to unconsidered problems. It is suspected that the airport will be relocated in Foshan.[3] The Pearl River Delta International Airport planned to be built in Foshan will be positioned as the second airport for Guangzhou.[4]
