Freedom Farm Cooperative

Freedom Farms Cooperative was an agricultural cooperative in Sunflower County, Mississippi, founded by American civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer in 1967 as a community based rural and economic development project.[1] In 1969 Hamer received a $10,000 donation from Measure for Measure, a charitable organization based in Madison, Wisconsin.[2] The FFC ended in the mid 1970s.
