Embassy of Singapore, Washington, D.C.

The Singaporean Embassy in Washington, D.C. is Singapore's main diplomatic mission to the United States. It is located at 3501 International Place Northwest, Washington, D.C.[1].

It provides assistance to Singaporean citizens and residents who live in the East Coast of the United States and issues long term visas to American citizens and nationals.[note 1] The embassy also operates Consulates-General in New York City and San Francisco, as well as Honorary Consulates-General in Chicago and Miami.[2]

The office of the Singapore's ambassador to the United States is currently held by Ashok Mirpuri since July 2012.

  1. American citizens could travel to Singapore for tourism, business, or while in transit for up to 90 days without having to obtain a visa.
