History

Elaine and Jake Tanzer founded the company in April 1979.[2][3][4]

Anne Weaver serves as chief executive officer, as of 2013.[5]

As part of the COVID-19 pandemic, the underlying company (Rhine and Tanzer) received between $2 million and $5 million in federally backed small business loan from Zions Bank as part of the Paycheck Protection Program. The company stated it would allow them to retain 463 jobs.[6]
