Academics

Eastside was ranked as the fourth best overall high school in the state in US News and World Report High School Rankings 2018[4]. It was the highest rank of all Greenville County Schools . In 2016, It had a graduation rate of 88% in 2015, above the state rate of 80.3%.[3]

In 2015, Eastside had an average ACT composite score of 21.7, which was above the district's average of 18.9 and the state's average of 17.9.[3] Additionally, Eastside High consistently has the highest percentage of students taking AP tests in Greenville County—with a 69% overall pass rate.

In 2015, Eastside had an average Algebra 1 EOC pass rate of 95.6%, an average English 1 EOC pass rate of 73.9%, an average Biology EOC pass rate of 88.1%, and an average US History EOC pass rate of 76.2%. All of these were above state averages.
