Dinny Kidney
Denis "Dinny" Kidney (18 October 1883 - 24 July 1917) was an Irish hurler who played for the Cork senior team.

Kidney made his first appearance for the team during the 1903 championship and was a regular member of the starting seventeen until his retirement after the 1908 championship. During that time he won one All-Ireland medal and two Munster medals.[1][2] Kidney was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion.
At club level Kidney won multiple county club championship medalist with Blackrock.
On 24 July 1917, Kidney died from tuberculosis aged 33. His brother, John Kidney, was also an All-Ireland medalist with Cork.
